Are workshops and presentations about instrument playing or making?
Both! Previous programmes have included instrumental and vocal skill workshops AND festival attendees have learnt from instrument makers about their processes from workshop to stage. Refer to our website and socials for specifics about next year’s programme.
Will I need to book in for the workshops, presentations and concerts?
No, just book your festival tickets and get excited! Playmakers is an intimate festival (no big crowds!) – there’ll always be a seat for you.
I don’t play an instrument, can I still attend workshops?
Of course! Everyone is invited – attendees are welcome to enjoy the festival as passive onlookers or as active participants.
Is this a family friendly event?
Yes, children are welcome and require a (free!) ticket to attend.
